Funk Guy

Funk Guy is a rhythm-based 2D Action Platformer where you play as a Funk Guy (Fungi) on a high-stakes mission. Groove with your music magic staff and make your way through a dangerous, infested crystal cavern, smiting glowing subterranean enemies to the beat. To survive the cavern, become one with the beat!

Theme Connection: "So Absurd, it's cool"

Funk Guy blends two genres not commonly mixed together to form a unique platformer experience. Our hero is a literal mushroom guy vibing out with a mystical staff. Synthesizing traditional high-intensity action platforming with strict rhythm game synchronization sounds ridiculous, but once you get into the flow, syncing your magical smites perfectly to a groovy baseline is undeniably cool.
